Reset & StreetFest10
So over the Bank Holiday we decided to check out the Reset, which features the strongest underground streetwear brands, and then onto Streetfest10 which was an all day event featuring art, sport, fashion, film and more...
Below is how our day unfolded..
It began with a short train ride to St. Pancras and to hop onto a tube to Old Street. As the sun was beaming, I decided to rock my untouched Purple ExoFit Hi's...I know what your thinking, NO FEET ON THE SEATS...the seats were cleaner than the floor so decided there was no other place for them..Lol
As I was with Mrs, we had to stop in Start boutique to check the latest trends, but the deal was that I could drag her into Wholesome...if your ever in that area, drop by, its a cool shop.
So we hit the Nike store 1948 for the Reset, which is a Streetwear sale where 14 independent UK brands sell their collections to the public.
The Brands selling on this two day event were A-IN-T, ALL CAPS, ABUZE LONDON, BENJART, DIRRRTEE, GRIND CLOTHING, SECOND SON, STAR PLAYER, SWANZFLY, TRAPSTAR, TRINOTRON, PXL CLOTHING,P.C. WILLIAMS, UGLY KIDS CLUB...our personal favourites were of course Trinotron(which we stock), Benjart and Trapstar, who are making major moves in the game.
Here are a few pics of what was on offer..
So after we see what the guys had on show and speaking about new collections, it was time to take the short stroll over to Streetfest10, which is dubbed London's number 1 street culture festival.
Again here there were brands selling there collections, some well known, such as 10 deep, Mishka, as well as break through brands such as VAG, Ask your Girl to name a few.
The event featured Live Artists, an MC challenge, Various skate competition and of course music performances, headlined by Mr Hudson...who is a personal favourite.
Here are the pics of what went down..
As the event was sponsored by Adidas, there was a design your own trainer comp, which me and Chris decided to enter...He chose to use the Forum Mid template, while I chose the ZX700...
Left or Right?? You decided
My bumlicking attempts to win..
...while Chris attempts flattery to win...
TY brought the house down with his performance!!
The main man Mr Hudson.
All in all its was an action packed day, it was good to still see these break through streatwear brands still pushing the boundaries and coming up with killer collections. I'm sure we'll be working with some of these real soon.
The artists were all dedicated in creating headturning pieces and the live performances we on point.
Roll on next year
